A man is having a panic attack in the middle of the street overnight, why?
The reason why I chose this film is because it's a very simple yet very effective idea. The camera begins with a close up of someones face, they're breathing in a panic... The camera then slowly begins to zoom/pan out and reveals that this man is a police officer sitting on the ground having a panic attack during a riot. The reason why I like this one so much is because of how original it is, usually in film police are made to be these heartless people who tell everyone what to do, but in this short film it shows the humanity in a police officer and makes you really think if you were in that situation.

A man is trying to sell his bike to someone else but is interrupted by another man... And his unicorn.
I like this film because it's not serious, it's very lighthearted and an entertaining watch. The acting in this film is probably what's best about it, all three of the actors portray a stereotypical young person living in London (which is also the reason for the name of the film). All of the camera shots work and flow well together. Overall it's just a very simple and entertaining short film.
A woman is cooking for what looks to be an abusive husband and puts too much salt in his food.
This short film is quite clever, from the beginning it's set up to look like the man is an abusive husband, and when he throws the spoon on his bowl resulting in the woman pouring too much salt in you get quite anxious for the woman. Once the bowl is dished up he takes a sip and asks the woman to join him saying 'It's delicious', the woman then joins him and they both begin to laugh together. The reason why I like his short film is because I was pleasantly surprised when I first watched it, it was a very feel good moment rather than going down the dark path I originally expected. The acting is also very good, There's only one little part of dialogue which was fine because I didn't need any dialogue to understand what was going on.
