My idea for a short 90 second film is to have one continuous shot, it begins when a man and woman enter a new house with their baby, they seem happy, then they walk out of frame. The door opens again and a young boy runs through the door while one of the parents carries shopping through. The idea is things like this will carry on happening but every time the door opens the boy and the parents get older and older until the very end of the film when the boy walks in the house alone with some flowers or something to signify that his parents have passed away then it will fade to black. I like that idea because it's simple (you don't necessarily need dialogue). The problems with this idea is that I would need to film somewhere else than the college with the other crew. It would also be very difficult to find a child actor and how to make the parents look older without any make-up, this would also make it very difficult to film in one continuous shot.
